At Duckett’s Mill, Josh and Jack continue the tradition of true farmhouse cheesemaking — hands-on, small-batch, and crafted with care. Using fresh, locally sourced milk from Hick’s Dairy, each cheese is stirred, cut, and aged by hand to bring out the authentic flavours of Denmark’s farmhouse heritage. Sam lends a helpful hand in the cheeseroom, while Josh and Jack lead each batch with passion and precision.

We have a wide variety of award winning soft and hard cheese –
Crem Dal Blu, Fresh Fromage, Brie, Triple Cream Camembert, Cheddar, Swiss, Caerphilly, Feta, Havarti and Gouda with a variety of different flavours across the range.
In 2025 we received the Dairy Industry Association of Australia WA Trophy for "Most Successful Exhibitor", along with eight gold and six silver medals.
Previously we were awarded the "Grand Champion", "Champion Cheese" and "Champion Cheesemaker" Awards by the DIAA WA in 2024, coming home with five gold and seven silver medals.
We also won five gold and 14 silver medals in 2023, and eight gold and eight silver medals in 2022!
Our GOLD Winning cheeses are our Camembert (Maudes Triple Cream), Cheddar, Feta (Garlic Onion Chive & Sundried Tomato; Jalapeno; Dill & Dill Cucumber; Garlic Onion & Chive), Fresh Fromage (Dill Pickle; Garlic Onion & Chive) Soft Blue (Crem Dal Blu), Stix River Swiss, Scotsdale Gouda (Mustard Seed; Chilli Chive & Garlic; Pepper; Garlic and Chive), Havarti (Jalapeno; Chilli & Garlic).
