2006 Three Cabernets

This wine has been made from a blend of Cabernet Franc, Ruby Cabernet and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. An aromatic, minty nose of plums, licorice and spicy toasty oak. The palate displays raspberry and cherry with a mocha oak lift and a textured balanced tannin length.

With careful cellaring this wine will improve over the next five years (13% alcohol).

The vibrancy of the nose follows on to the palate. An elegant combination of ripe tropical fruits, lemons and limes, with a refreshing balanced finish of grape sweetness and flinty citrus acidity (9.5% alcohol).
